Janneia Beyond The Great Desert

This is work in progress, so it will change. But when explorers visit the realms called Þ (pronounced thorn - its a letter that is no longer used in English but I've reintroduced it in my world - it is still used in Icelandic and Faroese) they come across a an area of the Sphere with 18th Century technology and decide to explore. Of course things don't quite go to plan, and various people find out. One of the characters then writes books about the places the original people come from and of course gets things wrong.

They started out as an idea, then progressed to quotes and then to a full blown story.
